- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆05.05.2018Sara Garrido DíazI felt trapped when I received my bill. I wasn´t informed that the antibiotics my pets needed were almost $150. I wasn´t given the option of a prescription. My decision was to take them was based in the vet saying "they need them". I couldn´t imagine that 7.5mg of antibiotics would have that cost. Sure enough, I found the same brand, same, dose and same format in a pet pharmacy for $45, three times cheaper. I also found the same antibiotic in tablets for $2.5. Not giving option to the clients when they exist and charging for a product almost 300% of its sale price, shows a pretty good lack of ethics. I also want to say that the vet waived me two consultations after I was told before arranging my appointment that I would be charged half of the price I was asked after billing. Then I was very kindly offered to pay in installments as the bill still ended up being double of what I would have expected. For that I am grateful, yet I don´t think I will ever come back or recommend this place to anyone. Trapping clients into paying three times more for medicines for their beloved pets is a very ugly practice.
